Your ancestors, the Puritans who came from England, were devout Christians. Let the words Quo Vadis! Quo Vadis! Quo Vadis! echo in your ears.
Those who migrated to America from France, Italy, Spain, and other European countries did not wage Crusades against the Ottoman Empire, the Republic of Türkiye, or other Muslim lands. When NATO was established, we too joined you in the struggle against communism, and we fought side by side.
Your forefathers who founded the American state built it upon science, faith, law, and art. Your country developed rapidly and became a global superpower. You also played a major role in the collapse of communism and the fall of the Iron Curtain.
But after September 11, those who governed America began attacking Islamic countries.
Do you, the American people, know how innocent Muslim blood was shed in Iraq? You probably do not know that hundreds of thousands of women and children were killed. Your government, under the influence of Zionists and arms merchants, is spending the national wealth that rightfully belongs to the American people to destroy and plunder Islamic countries.
In the Mediterranean, the Middle East, and the Arab world, military bases worth billions of dollars have been established. In Libya, Syria, Palestine, and Gaza, thousands—even millions—of innocent women and children have lost their lives. All of this has been carried out while being concealed from the American people. The truth is being presented to you in a distorted form.
Now you have elected Donald Trump as president. This real-estate magnate—wealthy, spoiled, and arrogant—did he not promise during his campaign to bring prosperity to America? Did he not promise to use America’s national wealth for the benefit of the American people? Did he not promise to bring peace to America and to the world? Did he not say he would usher in a golden age for America?
You heard all these promises with your own ears at campaign rallies.
O American people!
This man with the blond forelock, chasing his own ambitions and pleasures—how many of the promises he made to the American people is he fulfilling?
None of them, is he?
He has fulfilled none of them, has he?
Be aware: in the Iranian strikes that began on February 28, 2026 and have now entered their eighth day, Israel—Trump’s ally—has suffered a heavy blow. The city of Tel Aviv has been severely damaged by Iranian missiles. Some military bases in the Persian Gulf have also been struck.
On the first day, Israeli aircraft targeted Iran’s religious leader, Ali Khamenei, and members of his family, as well as several high-ranking Iranian officials. The stance of Iranian leaders—who refused to enter shelters and instead chose to face death—has led the Iranian people, the wider Islamic world, and even countries such as Spain, Italy, Russia, China, and North Korea to stand alongside Muslims.
Many observers are now saying that Netanyahu and Trump are committing crimes against humanity.
O American people!
Some of the realities we see and follow here in Türkiye may be hidden or censored by the Trump administration and certain commanders within the Pentagon.
Trump is probably appearing on American television saying things like: “We have killed Iran’s religious leader; the regime will now change; Iran will surrender to me unconditionally; we have achieved a great victory.”
You should not believe these lies and unlawful claims.
A Muslim has won the mayoralty of New York. We do not equate the American people—the people of the country of Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson—with the deceitful and opportunistic Trump. We have respect for the American people.
Our clear and urgent request to you is this: limit the powers of Trump, who has unjustly drawn America into war and caused American youth to lose their lives in lands they do not even know, and bring him before justice.
We want you to show the world that in America there still exist:
the rule of law,a living democracy,respect for science, art, and a free society,and that the guardians of these values are the United States House of Representatives and the United States Senate.
We hope that you will contribute to establishing a just peace in our world.
